Kathrin started with yoga and meditation almost 20 years ago as a way to heal from trauma and addiction. A key part of the healing was her discovery of mindfulness and self-compassion practices, where learning to be present and practice self-kindness on and off the mat radically transformed her life. 

 She practices and teaches a variety of styles of yoga from strong and dynamic to restorative and yin. The practices of present moment awareness and self-kindness are central to her teaching. Whether we move slow or strong we are always aiming to be gentle and kind to ourselves. 

 She was an Iyengar student for many years and has studied Yin, Yang and Mindfulness teacher training with Sarah Powers, restorative yoga for anxiety, anger and depression with Judith Hanson Lasater, BWY teacher training with Tara Fraser, Anusara level 1 to 3 intensives with Julie Rose Smerdon (Brisbane) & using gravity as therapy with Tias Little. 

 She is currently on the BreathWorks mindfulness teacher-training programme, where she is learning mindfulness for pain management and stress reduction.
