"To find home you've got to turn around and instead of searching outside for the answer you seek, all you have to do is look inside, and there lie the secrets that you want" Sydney Banks.

I first became an interested yet self-taught meditator some thirty years ago while practising Aikido. Over the years since I have become interested in modern non-duality teachings and since 2012 have studied with Julian Daizan Skinner Roshi, a Zen Master in the Japanese Rinzai Zen tradition. With Daizan Roshi I completed both Meditation and Mindfulness teacher training and Zen Yoga teacher training. I will use a range of meditation techniques depending on the audience, from body scans to breath meditation to self-inquiry to mindful movement. The emphasis is very much on developing relaxation and awareness.

“Life is amazing. And then it's awful. And then it's amazing again. And in between the amazing and awful it's ordinary and mundane and routine. Breathe in the amazing, hold on through the awful, and relax and exhale during the ordinary. That's just living heart-breaking, soul-healing, amazing, awful, ordinary life.
