A relaxing style of class intended to heal and nurture the body whilst calming the mind. Classes focus on breathing, relaxation, meditation and some sound work. Mostly working from a lying down position you will hold poses many of them with lots of support from bolsters, blankets and blocks, approaching each one from a place of care and love for yourselves. Restorative means to have the ability to restore health, strength, or well-being. The many different poses help to restore the systems of the body which are often compromised due to stress, fear, anger and anxiety. You will learn to let go of ‘performing' and 'comparing' and feel a sense of wholeness and connectedness by the end of the practice.
